Annoying messages and popups

Here are some instructions for getting rid of those messages and pop ups:

Turn off alert message even if you have done the items below and it did not work:

If you still have issues, subscribe to be notified when the issue is fixed.

To turn off Pop up messages for products and services
1. Go to Edit>Preferences>General>
2. Check the "Turn off pop-up...."

To turn off the Coach & Live Community
1. Go to Edit>Preferences>Desktop View
2. Make your choices

To Turn off Back up reminders
1. Go to File>Create Backup
2. Toward the bottom of the screen click Options
3. Uncheck the "Remind me to backup...."

To turn off the Online Invoice payment message
1. Go to Edit>Preferences>Payments
2. Click on Company Preferences
3. Uncheck "Show payments link on emailed Invoices and Show payment link on printed Invoices"

To turn off Customer Credit Card protection password and login
1. Go to Company>Customer Credit Card protection


To turn off Automatic Updates


1. Go to Help>Update Quickbooks and set up your options on the "Options" Tab

To turn off Standard 21:
1. Go to Edit>Preferences>General Preferences

2. Uncheck "Keep QB running for quick startups."  Turning off this preference will cause QB to not start as fast.
